Physical Therapy
Our pediatric physical therapists help children develop strength, coordination, and mobility to support participation in daily activities. Therapy focuses on improving gross motor skills, balance, and overall physical function, helping each child reach their highest level of independence.
APT aims to help these individuals enhance their potential in activities at home and school and eventually independent living with varied interventions which include:
Stretching, strengthening and massage therapy
Endurance training
Kinesiotaping
Neuromuscular facilitation
Electrical stimulation
Splinting, bracing and adapting equipment
Integration of social skills along with cognitive learning
APT's pediatric physical therapists will incorporate many different approaches into every day play time activities using, swings, balls, slides, and other toys to improve eye-hand coordination as well as balance and posture stability.
